Gallery of Previous Work
Sharing some of my prettier past work in gallery form. I won't always be able to exactly replicate things - some of my specialist leathers are only available in small quantities and where I've made custom, one off commissions to a customer's specification, I won't usually duplicate the item. You are very welcome to approach me with ideas and themes represented here though!

Phoenix Handbag
I had a lot of fun making this one-off handbag. Told myself if it didn't sell in a month, I'd keep this one for myself. Regrettably (for me anyway!) it was snapped up quickly.
Custom Dragon Handbag
This was a commission handbag for a friend and the reason I developed this pattern template. I was really pleased with how it turned out!
Custom Messenger Bag
This custom messenger bag was created as a birthday present for a very special person in Empire LRP's Brass Coast. I developed this messenger bag pattern specifically for the gift and happily, it lends itself to a wide range of designs!
Tree Messenger Bag
This was my first test of the messenger bag pattern I made. Was originally intended to just be a very basic, plain brown bag but plain hurts my soul so I added a tree! Came out OK for a test pattern.

Aqua Scale Mage Armour
Lovely mage armour set with a feature metallic aqua scale leather. This leather was a one-off remnant piece that I can't get again and I wanted to do something unique with it!
Galaxy Theme Mage Armour
This was a fun set to make and included feature leather in a mottled, oil spill, dark rainbow effect. The stars were hand tooled and have hand stitched gems centred on each. My mage armour always includes a circlet and vambraces, just not in the picture.
Dwarf / Viking Armour
This I made for my character at Eyelarp's The Five Kingdoms (technically I made it for Bindrune, but Red stole it from my Viking character!) Bit different from my usual makes, but I wanted something rugged, lightweight and highly manoeuvrable - This was what I came up with.
Purple & Black Constellation Armour
Sadly, this lovely, holographic constellation leather is no longer available - I probably have offcuts for circlets but I ran out of larger pieces some time ago and this was the only full mage armour set I made with it.
Green Damask Mage Armour
Pretty matching set in a gorgeous mossy green shade with antique gold damask print on the feature panels. Very little of that green and gold leather left and sadly it has been discontinued! Might have enough for one more set.
Monochrome Mage Armour
Monochrome anything is unusual for me, I do like colour a lot, but the grey pattern leather on the feature panels arrived in a mixed remnants lot and I needed to use it. Full set included torso armour, mage belt, bracers and circlet.
Sunset Scale Armour
I've done a lot of variants on this armour pattern, but this one was my first. Entirely veg tan leather, scales are hand carved and individually dyed. I was surprised by how well the scale gradient worked on this!
Red Damask Mage Armour
Same leather as the green, and it looks fantastic in red. Again its a discontinued leather but I do still have a couple of hides at the time of writing, so it is repeatable. Always happy to work with you if you want a change in shape, size etc!
Leafy Mage Armour
I really did love how this set turned out, the combination of carved scales sections alternating with the rich brown panels worked really nicely. This set is entirely hand dyed veg tan leather which means I can repeat it indefinitely!
Purple Gradient Mage Armour
Was mostly just having a play around with colour combinations on this set, but was very happy with the finished product. Again, this is repeatable, either with the standalone pauldrons shown, or the removable pauldrons shown in some of my other sets which don't have the cross-chest straps.
Purple Overlap Armour
Was having a play around with a new text pattern for this one, and used some of the gorgeous oil-spill rainbow effect leather I can sometimes get hold of to do the feature panels.
Rainbow Gem Mage Armour
I am the first to admit that this set is utterly ridiculous. All the scales were hand carved and individually dyed. Which then got acrylic gemstones hand stitched in the centre of each scale. I can't remember how many there were, but a few hundred. It has not yet been long enough for me to even contemplate sewing that many gems onto anyone's armour again, but I can probably be bought if you really desperately need it.
Curious Pastimes Baby Dragon
This was a very fun set to make. Baby dragon's dad asked me to make torso armour which would match the baby dragon's existing aesthetic, and to make it in such a way that it would be adjustable to grow with him. This little dude is the best advert I could possibly have in the field and he was SO excited to get his armour! Original photo by Duncan Thacker, edited and used with permission.
Baby Dragon Close Up
Its a fairly simple build structurally, made special with hand carved with dragon scales which were dyed blue, had a layer of sparkle top coat applied and little hand pained silvery details to make the scales pop a bit. This genuinely just makes me smile every time I see him in the field or in photos online. Picture taken by Duncan Thacker, used and edited with permission. Model used with permission from baby dragon and his dad (also Duncan Thacker!).

Long Leather Coat
This was a custom make based on Aragorn's outfit in the Lord of the Rings movies. Features an awful lot of hand stitched detailing on every seam and on the sleeve patch details.
Metallic Red & Black Doublet
Doublet in gorgeous metallic red and distressed black leathers made with detachable sleeves. Done as a 3XL and my leather doublets, jerkins and coats can all be made in any size you like.
Fun Mushroom Jerkin
This was an extremely fun item to design and make. It uses one of my regular leather vest patterns as a base, the added hand painted & moulded leather frill effect.
Long Red Leather Coat
Essentially this is exactly the same coat as the first one done to look more dashing, less scruffy range, in a deep red leather with brass buckles. Gorgeous item.
Patchwork Jerkin
This was a fun project using a mix of leather and a few craft fabrics to form a multicoloured patchwork vest. Lovely, one-off piece but am open to requests along similar lines!
Double Breasted Leather Jerkin
This design was developed as a custom request for a friend's wedding and I do still occasionally make them for stock items or commission requests.
Dark Red Femme Jerkin
I don't usually make fitted femme clothing (because I'm not very good at it!) but this piece came out really nicely. Still a little sad that it sold as I rather love it but its owner looks fantastic in it!
Leather Leaf Jerkin
Possibly the most Navaar item I have ever made. This was a cute little project following on from the earlier mushroom vest 0 exactly the same pattern with a leaf trim made instead of a mushroom frill. It's adorable.
Elf Sleeveless Tunic
Made this for my niece's first larp character and she was thrilled with it. Lovely green leather with leaf shape buckle strapping and hand stitched detailing.
Steph's First Leatherwork!
This is the first leatherwork I ever did, a good few years before I ever started larping (I was a cosplayer. I got bored replicating existing costumes). Bodice was a highly modified bought item, arms, skirt, boot covers, hat and chain maille all made by me, functional glitter gun and wings modified by me. And wow, but that's a very young me!
Iridescent Scale Jerkin & Pauldrons
This stuff is wild, especially if you catch it in the sunlight. Metallics gold/red/green colour change and an outfit to be worn if you really want to be noticed. Possibly from space.

Colourful Viking Costume
Made this for myself! Fancied playing a Norse-styled LARP in colours other than brown, black and grey. Undertunic, overdress, belt, necklace and chest beads all my me.
Steve's Wedding Outfit
My lovely friend asked me to make his outfit to get married in. Was given a fairly open brief of Viking-y, black, red and silver and came up with this linen and leather tunic with matching fabric sash belt and leg wraps.
Closer Tunic View
When I made it, this was definitely the fanciest tunic I'd ever made. Mostly because the neck piece is hand carved and painted leather, although hand-fraying linen for the trim was a first too. And both Steve and Amy looked absolutely amazing at their wedding!
Pastoral Bodice & Skirt
Another one of my outfits. (I do make lots of fabric stock too, I'm just terrible at remembering to photograph them!) I originally made this for my Eyelarp's Second Breakfast character and then modified it a bit for my Menhir's Fate Avereaux fable weaver. Bodice and patchwork skirt by my, cold weather jumper bought off the shelf and modified by me.
Mushroom Cape
I do these semi regularly and they're always popular. And they're not limited to red! I can do them in any colour). Outer is always a wool or wool mix with appliqued spots and a cute little mushroom button.
Full Length Turquoise Cloak
I don't do full length cloaks very often (I'm short, wool is heavy!) and this one was for a 6'3 guy so involved a LOT of fabric. Added appliqued sequin features down the front for a bit of extra glitz and was pretty happy with the result.

Black & Silver Nubuck Pouch
Gorgeous pouch in a black and silver nubuck leather, I make quite a lot of these in all versions of that damask pattern leather, although its discontinued so eventually I will run out! Can also make matching items if needed.
Patchwork Effect Pouch
This was a fun to make pouch in a faux-patchwork tooled leather, each segment hand dyed. Ended up keeping this one for myself, although happy to make variations on demand!
Sunset Tree Pouch
Sunset gradients are definitely a recurring theme with my makes, I do love the effect. This tree was drawn from a photo I took of a local dead tree and I've used it for years. It looks stunning against the sunset background.
Red & Gold Damask Pouch
Another pouch in a variant of this damask leather, which I have in a few different colourways. This, black/silver, green/gold and black/gold I think. At the time of writing anyway! Its discontinued so when it's gone, its gone.

Sunset Phoenix Bracers
Fire colourway phoenix bracers (or possibly greaves - I made both and I can't tell from the photo! Hand carved, textured and dyed with the sunset fire effect. Time consuming so I rarely make them but they are very pretty!
Sunset Dragonscale Bracers
My hand carved and tooled dragonscale pattern in a sunset gradient - made to match the armour shown in the armour sets gallery above. These take while but the effect is absolutely stunning.
Metallic Turquoise Bracers
The shape was loosely based on ranger bracers from Lord of the Rings, but the teal base colour and metallic turquoise tooled area firmly removes it from the Middle Earth setting. These can be painted in pretty much any colour.
Rainbow Phoenix Bracers
Had a play after doing the initial fire set to see if I could manage a rainbow gradient using just leather dye. Came out rather nicely!
Rainbow Gem Bracers
These were very fun to make, and the full armour set can be seen in the armour gallery above. Carved scales, individually dyed for the rainbow gradient, with a marquise acrylic gem hand stitched into the centre of every scale. Insanely time consuming but so worth it!
